Senior Connections, and our community partners, offer a variety of educational opportunities for caregivers to learn strategies that empower them to take better care of themselves and their loved ones.

 

Caregiver's Toolkit: Educational Webinar Series:

Senior Connections hosts educational webinars that cover a range of issues relevant to Caregivers, such as: Legal Documents for Caregivers, How to Advocate for Loved Ones in the Healthcare System, Mindfulness and Stress Reduction for Caregivers, and more. Powerful Tools for Caregiving:

Senior Connections offers classes to empower caregivers on their journey. Powerful Tools for Caregivers (PTC) is a class series that supports caregivers in taking care of themselves while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver.
This six-week class will give you tools to help:
        1. Reduce Stress
        2. Improve self-confidence
        3. Manage time, set goals and solve problems
        4. Communicate in challenging situations
        5. Make tough decisions
        6. Locate helpful resources
