Caregiver Coalition

The members of the Virginia Caregiver Coalition are dedicated to supporting you and others in your support group with free education programs, connections to a world of resources such as respite opportunities, and a direct channel to your legislators and public officials to make sure your voice is heard in Richmond.

Our members are family caregivers, community advocates, disability and aging care experts, state agency employees and more. Together, we work to improve your care-giving experience and assure that every caregiver in Virginia has an advocate they can turn to.

The Coalition meets on the third Thursday every other month. Our meetings are held in-person at the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) offices in Richmond, or by video- conference so you can participate no matter where you live.

Membership in the Coalition is free. Download the application below.
